If you're looking for a Fort Collings wedding photographer, this area offers an incredible mix of historic charm, mountain views, and relaxed Colorado energy. Fort Collins and the front range will always hold a special place in my heart. As a Colorado State University alum, I spent many summers exploring every corner of Northern Colorado - from sunset hikes at Horsetooth Reservoir to grabbing a beer at New Belgium Brewery. I don't just know there locations as a photographer; I know them as a local who loves the unique, relaxed energy of this community. I'm here to help you document your day in a way that feels natural, connected, and true to the place you've chosen to say "I do."

More about Wedding Services

From historic homes like the Tapestry House to outdoor ranches like Sylvan Dale, there is no shortage of wedding venues with epic wedding photo spots with meaningful backdrops to have the perfect Fort Collins Wedding.

Why Fort Collins is Such a Beautiful Place to Get Married

For those wanting a vineyard feel without leaving Northern Colorado, Sweetheart Winery in Loveland is a photographer's dream. This fall gallery features the bride and groom's celebration, complete with pumpkin spice decor and a champagne pop in open fields. With a ceremony site facing a wooded open space and a reception hall lined with wine barrels, it's the ultimate venue for couples who want rustic elegance along the banks of the Big Thompson River.

From Old Town Fort Collins to the foothills and nearby backroads, I know how to work with the light, scenery, and feel of this area in a way that keeps your images grounded in the place you choose. My approach is built around real moments, gentle direction, and documenting the day as it actually felt, not just how it looked.

Fort Collins gives couples such a unique combination of mountain-adjacent beauty, historic charm, and relaxed Colorado energy, which makes it an incredible place for wedding photography.

Stunning wedding venues in and around Fort Collins

Think you can't have a stunning outdoor ceremony in the middle of a Colorado winter? Think again. This January wedding at Tapestry House was proof that with a hot coca bar, cozy blankets, and the perfect golden hour light, a winter wedding can be the incredibly soulful. This historic Laporte manor offers a "stepped back in time" charm that is unlike any other venue in the Fort Collins area.

Fort Collins Wedding Photography FAQs

We are spoiled for choices here! For a classic mountain-meets-water vibe, Horsetooth Reservoir is unbeatable at sunset. If you want something more historic and urban, Old Town Fort Collins offers amazing textures and alleyways. For a more secluded, "wild" feel, I love taking couples up into Poudre Canyon.

Yes! I've had the pleasure of capturing stories at many of the area's premier spots, including Sylvan Dale Guest Ranch, Tapestry House, and Sweetheart Winery. I'm always happy to share tips on the best lighting and hidden photo spots for these specific locations.

This is Colorado - the weather is part of the adventure! I always scout backup indoor options or covered porches (like the beautiful wrap-around porch at Tapestry House). Some of my favorite, most soulful shots have actually happened under an umbrella or in the middle of a light snowfall (or both!)

Absolutely. While I enjoy being a Fort Collings wedding photographer, I frequently travel throughout the Front Range, to Estes Park, and deeper into the Rocky Mountains for elopements and weddings. If you're planning something further out, just ask!

I focus on "authentic storytelling." I want your photos to feel like you - not a stiff, posed version of you. I combine gentle direction with a documentary approach to capture the real laughs, the messy emotions, and the rugged beauty of the Colorado landscape.
