Colorado Wedding at The Woodlands

Rachel and Justin were married on a beautiful but COLD day at the gorgeous Woodlands in Morrison, Colorado. The two of them have a sweet story dating all the way back to their high school days. Although they didn’t hit it off right away, after they reconnected at Justin’s coming home party, they dated long distance for a while and then he agreed to move to Texas with Rachel. That was when it became clear that a wedding would be in their future!

Rachael and Justin chose the Woodlands because of its beautiful mountain views but also because it reminded them a little bit of Texas. They also loved that it was so close and convenient for their friends and family which made celebrating with everyone even easier! We love the Woodlands and always look forward to returning here to shoot weddings!

They decided against a first look but chose to share a first touch instead. If you’re not 100% set on a first look, first touches are becoming more and more popular and I think they create such a sweet and unique moment between couples. Time for just them to talk, touch, and fully prepare to take in all that is about to happen. First touches also make for super adorable photo ops!

Rachel and Justins ceremony was short and sweet, fully focused on their relationship now and how it would grow in the future. Just as they were pronounced husband and wife, it started to flurry! We took some gorgeous portraits against the snowy Colorado mountains and then it was time to party! They danced the night away with their closest friends and family. It was just the perfect end to a perfect day!

We are always so thankful couples choose to share such special days in their lives with us. We are looking forward to photographing more beautiful wedding days at the Woodlands!
