The last time I saw Michaela and Erik they were in nesting/baby prep mode. Life has changed quite a bit since their little Lucas arrived, but what a sweet change it is! This kid is a H-A-M! I mean hammier than all the hams. He actually had me almost tripping over rocks as I laughed at his antics. Meeting this crew in Rocky Mountain National Park was also a fabulous choice. The sky was a blue I swear I never see in the city and the temperature was so crisp and cool I wanted to lay under a tree and take a nap.
Rocky Mountain National Park in the summer can be hit or miss. Afternoons can sometimes mean storms rolling in and I always try to convince clients to meet me in the early morning for the best light and best shot at sunshine! You also get the added bonus of less tourist traffic which can lead to major congestion in the most scenic spots of the park.
