Winter Allenspark Engagement Session

Colorado mountains, snow, a super rad couple and the absolute cutest pup = best engagement session ever! We spent a few hours exploring Allenspark, Colorado for Paige and Dom’s winter engagement session. I always love when couples are down to stand around in the snow with me for a little while! It’s always 100% worth the frozen fingers! I always try to convince my couples that it can be a romantic way to end a session by going to warm up for some hot chocolate or a latte at their favorite cafe on the way home. But honestly, we’re usually having so much fun we don’t even notice the cold!

It also helped that mother nature was on our side and sunshine poured through the trees for us! You simply cannot duplicate the true glow of a good golden hour. (**hint hint: this is why I always suggest to my couples that we shoot as close to sunset as possible!**)

Paige and Dom are set to be married this September at The Lionsgate Center in Lafayette, Colorado. From everything they’ve already told me about their wedding plans and all the details we chatted during their engagement session, I know it’s going to be such a fun day and I’m looking forward to partying with them! Always a pleasure working with Right as Rayne Events as well!

Paige and Dom have this natural chemistry that made them so easy to photograph. He has a way of lighting up her face with the simplest touch. And even though they are down. right. gorgeous. Piper tried really hard not to steal the show. But I don’t know, that baby face!! I am such a sucker for sweet pups.
